Plaskett Trophy, Tuesday 7th October 2025

On Tuesday, 7th October 2025, we held the first of this season's club competitions for the Plaskett Trophy

Twenty club members put their names forward to play, so the competition was organised for 5 teams of 4 players.
Each team would play against every other team; and would have two games on each mat.

For every game that they won, a team would get 2 points, with 1 point to each team for a draw, and zero for a loss.
After playing all the games, the points were added up to decide which was the winning team overall.

Only one team won all of the games they played, and were therefore the clear outright Winners

Winners – Blue Team. Carole Bourne, Leslie Saunders, Nigel Clark and Chris Selling

Runners up - Purple team, (having won three of their games). Ann Cook, Ishbel Stronach, John Riddell and Roger Gill
