Men's Singles. Tuesday 11th March 2025

On Tuesday, 11th March 2025, we held our Men's Singles competition

Only six men put their names down to compete in the Mens Singles this year. So, like the Ladies Singles, a proper ‘round robin’ style of competition was held, where each person played a game against every other player – ( 5 games each, ) making15 games to be played in total over two mats.

For every game that they won, a player would get 2 points, with 1 point to each player for a draw, and zero for a loss. After playing all the games, the points were added up to decide which was the winning player overall.

The 3rd, 4th, and 5th place spots were closely contested, with three players all having won 2 of their 5 games, so that the total number of shots scored by each of them through the afternoon had to be used to decide the order of these competitors. But, having won all his games, the clear winner was Roger Gill. with Roger Bond. in second place with three wins.
