Chairman's Day, Tuesday 20th January 2026

The last of this season’s ‘internal’ team competitions, for the Chairman’s Day shield, was held on Tuesday 20th January 2026.

Several of the members who originally signed up to play were unfortunately unable to attend, so only twelve players took part on the day, in four teams of three people.
Each team played against every other team.

For every game that they won, a team would get 2 points, with 1 point to each team for a draw, and zero for a loss.
After playing all the games, the points were added up to decide which was the winning team overall.

The only team to win all 3 of their games, and therefore the outright winners, were the Red Team, which appropriately had our club Chairman playing as their skip.
The runners-up, the Blue Team, won 2 out of their 3 games.

Runners up: Les James, James McColl and Cyril Wilson
